The Catholic community here in Denver is vibrant and growing, and nowhere is that more apparent than when celebrating beautiful Catholic weddings in the Denver metro area.
As Catholics ourselves — we’re parishioners at Our Lady of Lourdes in Denver — we specialize in photographing the beauty and solemnity of the Mass, and we especially enjoy documenting the liturgies at which the marriage sacrament is celebrated. We are long-time photographers for the Archdiocese of Denver, photographing Archbishop Samuel J. Aquila, priest and deacon ordinations, portraits and other events for Denver Catholic.
We live in Littleton with our two children and feel blessed to be able to use our talents to glorify Him and His Church.

Understanding of Catholic Traditions and Rituals: As Catholics ourselves, we have a deep understanding of the significance and nuances of Catholic wedding ceremonies — from the exchange of vows, the nuptial blessing, to the significance of the Eucharist. We ensure these sacred moments are captured with the reverence they deserve.
Respect for the Sacredness of Church: We approach photography in a Catholic church with the utmost respect, understanding the sanctity of the space. We know where and when to position ourselves to get the best photos without disrupting the ceremony. Having photographed in so many Catholic churches, we’re acquainted with the lighting, architecture, and layout, which helps us understand the best photos and angles to beautifully capture the Mass.
Emphasis on the Sacrament: We view your wedding not just as a social event but as a sacrament: a commitment before God and His Church. This approach allows us to capture the spiritual and emotional depth of your ceremony in a way that resonates with our faith. Sharing the same faith can create a deeper connection and understanding between us. This can lead to a more personalized and comfortable experience for you throughout your wedding day.
Attention to Detail: We pay special attention to Catholic symbols and details, including the crucifix, rosaries, stained glass windows, and other iconographies, ensuring they are thoughtfully included in your wedding photos.
Nearly all of the couples we work with each year are Catholic, and we typically shoot about 25 weddings per year — a little more than two per month.
As trained photojournalists, we capture moments — a quick smile between bride and groom, dad wiping away a tear, the elevation of the Holy Eucharist, the couple receiving.
Our style could best be described as natural, authentic, bold and timeless. We want your pictures to look the way that God made this world. We carefully edit each image we give you, adjusting for tone, sharpness and framing. Our photos aren’t blown out, oversaturated or washed over with in-vogue tones because we want them to look as true-to-life today as they will decades from now.

Don’t see your church? Don’t worry. As trained photojournalists, we’re used to go into churches and working quickly to capture the beauty and sacredness of the space.
Although we primarily photograph in Colorado, we have photographed weddings in Kansas, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Washington, D.C. (and visited nearly every state in the U.S.). We are available for travel in the U.S. and worldwide. We add in travel fees to cover the cost of travel outside of the Denver metro area.
We deliver a preview of images within 72 hours and then deliver the rest to you within 6-8 weeks after the wedding date in a password-protected gallery.
Our photography starts at $2,500 for four hours on the wedding day (you can see more packages below or our pricing sheet here). Every package over eight hours will come with Anya and Dan as photographers, and packages with fewer hours will include at least one of us and a trusted second photographer we’ve worked with in the past. We are also customize hours and components because we realize not every day fits neatly into one of our offerings.
To book a date, we ask for a 25 percent deposit of the package total and then the rest two weeks before the wedding date.
