Sara and Vince met for the first time on a hike with some friends in the foothills of Colorado.
Vince noticed her right away, but they didn’t speak much that day.
They gradually got to know one another — Vince works in accounting for a local Catholic organization, and Sara is a nurse.
In November, they were married at the Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception — the mother church in Denver —their strong faith in Jesus the foundation of a lifelong partnership. The Cathedral is one of our favorite places to photograph — not only because we were married there, but because of the large white walls and the way sunlight filters into the space. It’s truly magnificent.
After the wedding Mass, celebrated by Fr. Christopher Gama, we ventured over to Cherry Creek State Park to take pictures with Sara, Vince and their bridal party. The weather was pleasant despite it being early November, and the sunset provided a dramatic backdrop to end our session before we headed to the Franciscan Event Center for the reception.
