As many couples faced in early 2020, Jenny and Dominique’s plans for their June wedding were upended by the coronavirus pandemic.
But they quickly pivoted, found a venue at the Greenbriar Inn, and surrounded by a small group of family — sisters, brothers, parents and nieces and nephews — they wed in Boulder on a gorgeous late summer day. We were also able to work with them before their wedding day, during an engagement session at Maxwell Falls near Evergreen.
Jenny, her sister and mother got ready with makeup and dress at the St. Julien Hotel in Boulder, while Dominique got ready in their home near Denver. After the ceremony, Jenny’s father gave a touching speech about their relationship and the new lives they were preparing to embark on. We capped the evening before dinner with a few portraits around the grounds of the Greenbriar Inn, a lovely enclave just off of U.S. 36 from Boulder on the way to Lyons that reminds us of homes in Lord of the Rings.
