Nick was ready to propose to Codi.
Both were traveling from out of state to enjoy some of Colorado’s great skiing weather. Before they hit the slopes with friends, Nick wanted to ask Codi: Will you marry me?
He had already arranged a dinner in Denver that day they got in, and the plan was simple: Walk to a nearby park to check out the snow covered mountains, propose, celebrate, and then head off to meet friends.
We settled on Cheesman Park, right in the heart of Denver, and specifically the Pavillion, where towering white columns provided the perfect setting behind the backdrop of Colorado’s Rocky Mountains in the distance.
Codi, truly surprised, immediately embraced Nick after saying yes — and we enjoyed a brief engagement session as the sun set.
