When we first met Kate and Erik over beers at a local brewery in 2018, Anya and I could immediately tell how much both loved each other and how central their Catholic faith is in their lives.
Fast forward to October, and the two celebrated their wedding nuptials and Mass at Holy Name Catholic Church in Sheridan, just outside Denver, Colorado. The church — recently renovated — provided the perfect backdrop for friends and family to witness Kate and Erik exchange their wedding vows before God.
Shortly after the Mass and family photos, we headed over to Wellshire Golf Course in Denver, where the sky was clear blue over a bright sun, the weather warm betraying any sense that fall was near. We enjoyed walking around the golf course to get photos of Kate and Erik together for the first time as a wedded couple.
The wedding was full of celebration, blending Kate’s European family traditions — including a special dance — with Erik’s Latin American dancing and music — a perfect combination for a magnificent celebration.
