The setting: a mansion, circa 1914, surrounded by the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, on a warm, summer day in Colorado. The cast: Kevin and Ellery and their beloved family and friends. The mission: to get hitched.
We were honored and thrilled to photograph the wedding of Kevin and Ellery earlier this summer in Littleton, Colo. As you may remember from when we shared photos from their engagement session last fall, Kevin is my cousin. In a lot of ways his family and mine grew up together in the same little neighborhood, so it was a particular joy to get to document his wedding. An event made even more joyful by the kind, thoughtful woman there to become his wife. Throw in the Manor House — an estate you would be hard-pressed to improve upon given its history (it once hosted President Theodore Roosevelt) and the amazing grounds that surround it — and a guest list of fun-loving people, and you truly have yourself a celebration to remember.
Thank you to both Kevin and Ellery and their lovely families who welcomed us in for the day to document this beautiful celebration. Congratulations!
